Community Picnic

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR PICNIC PLANNING

Alumi Member volunteers are needed to help plan and organize a social picnic in conjunction with the InfraGuard Oregon Chapter on Saturday, July 21,  You will be working with the Alumni Association Board's Social Committee and InfraGuard Oregon's planning committee to choose locations, food, social activities, etc. If you are interested in helping plan this event, please e-mail [hidden email]

Thank you for entertaining the idea of becoming a Youth Academy Counselor. What is Youth Academy you ask? For the last seven years, the Portland FBI has put on a Youth Academy that has been greatly supported with bodies and financially by YOU, The Citizens Academy Alumni.

Backpack Drive

Back-pack Project

Help support a child in need by providing them with the tools they need to be successful in school. The recipient school will be Reynolds Middle School in Fairview, Oregon.

Backpacks and supplies will be collected over the next seven months. The goal is to collect and stuff at least 50 backpacks with supplies.

Youth Academy Scholarship

Meet Kendall Rooney - the first recipient of the newly offered Oregon Chapter FBICAAA Youth Academy Scholarship.

Kendall participated in the 2017 Youth Academy. She is currently a senior at Sabin-SchellenBerg. She is a member of the Skills USA for Law Enforcement, Plays soccer and volunteers for the Speical Olympics. She is excited to start her college jouney and says the FBI Youth Academy was an amazing experience and one that she felt she learned a lot from.

PDX Bowlathon

Thanks to hundreds of generous participants, sponsors and donors, the FBI Oregon Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBICAAA) Human Traffic Committee raised a grand total of $11,000 at its 6th Annual Bowl-A-Thon held on March 10, 2018 in Beaverton, Oregon.

Comforting Those Who Serve America

Zephyr, who is a member of the Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams, visited the YLA students on Friday, July 14th to provide soft fur and comfort to the students and agents fighting crime and seeking justice.
